My AdSense account got banned today while my competitor's AdSense account is still alive. I don't understand we have the same niche. Like every detail. I have basically offered everything what he is offering. I only have this website on my account. Right, when you are about to make a killing then you got killed.

Sorry that happened to you.

What is your question though?
haha thanks for the response. I was just confused about why I got banned then his not. Is there some kind of technique?

No, as you said you are making a killing, so you got banned, simple as that I guess. Its bad luck because you see someone's site put on adsense without problems do not necessarily mean you will be safe too.

Could be they're doing something different, could be you got banned for quality or invalid clicks not because of the niche. Could just be luck.

replace it and move on, adsense is trash anyway

This.

Sorry about that. Thing is some ads you see that look like adsense are not adsense ads or are not being served directly from Adsense, they could be served via third-party mediation partners, as a result the chances of their ad account being banned is slim.

Also, adsense sometimes can be selective with who they ban and the ones they allow on their network.

How old was your Adsense account? Could be that competitor has worked with adsense many years before using his aged account for that specific site.

Whether you would get ban or not depends on the quality of traffic and countries.

What was the traffic to your site? From which country? Traffic were from google search or social media?

But he's making a killing way more than me. His ranking top 2 and I'm on the top 7-8 on our top keywords.

I make $300-$500 a day on this keyword with AdSense. I am now using Adsterra which sucks not even 50$ a day.

Can you please tell me what are those third-party partners??

This probably is the right answer. I only have this account last year.

They clearly stated in the email that they disabled my account because of my niche. It's not on their policy blah blah blah. Confused why because the top 10 results are offering the same thing and most of them have AdSense.

There are lots of them which I can't start listing here.
An easy to way to know is to view your competitor's ads.txt file, go to YourCompetitorDomain.com/ads.txt if you see more than one line of publisher ID then they're not using only adsense.

Adsense is getting worse through the years like others users told you. Find other ways to monetize your keyword.

Maybe your competitor reported you to google.

Had the same situation with Google. They removed my app for an absolutely ridiculous reason. I contacted their support and sent them links to 10 different apps in the same niche, which had the same "problem" as I had. Yet they removed my app and theirs are still up running.

Their answer: If I have a problem with another app I should report them. Lol.

Not that suprising to me. This happens all the time with google and youtube and monetization, pretty much with everything google owns.

I see. I just checked one of my competitor and see he's not using adsense but shows adsense ads on his website. But everything else are using google adsense direct.

They are selective as user above suggested. I pretty much agree with this. And the other one I learned is the account should be old enough like 5-10yrs old.

So is the presumption OP’s page should have never been allowed ads?

OP, is this a niche where ads aren’t allowed and you’re just wondering why your competitor hasn’t been dinged?

I think google would love that you're making a killing as they get a % out of your ads. Maybe you got reported and your competitor didn't. Or maybe it's a matter of time till he gets banned too. Or maybe you're missing something that your competitor got figured out.
