Same images on different websites ? Duplicate problems ?

I have a problem. I need to 2 websites, one in my own language and one in english for the international market. I have one created and indexed already.

Will there be a problem because of using the same images for both ? I've heard it's good to use original images. Can I do something to make the images appear original ? Is this really important SEO wise ?

I don't think it's that big of a deal even if duplicate.

Make their image file names and alt tags different.

Should not be a concern. Plenty of sites use free images from places like Pixabay etc. Just change the code / alt tags etc if you're worried.

Why 2 website, why not Hreflang Tag?

There will be no problem. 60% of website on www using duplicate images.

Thanks so much guys. I will just change filename and alt tag. Though I do not understand what "changing their code" means

Using the same images will not have notable impact on SEO.
But if you want to make sure everything is perfect, make one of the pics unique - mirror it in Photoshop and use different alt tags

Chill out. This wont cause any problem for you.

If you want to optimize your images for image search as well, just use the alt tags in respective languages.
