Same Api key, two Websites?

Hey i wanted to ask if i can use the same API key ( even though its "not recommend") for 2 different website´s and would it be better to use woocommerce or shopify preferbly using stripe as my merchant/payment

Its okay to use same api keys if the owner of account is same and nature of business is similar.
