is it ok to use the same anchor text for interlinks but on different pages? like a link to page A on page B and C using the same anchor text!!
EDIT: also can go back and make a lot of interlinks to a certain page at the same time?

Sites usually don't get penalised for internal linking, but don't overdo it. I'd vary the anchor text for diversity and to avoid over-optimisation.

I've had the opposite experience, I once linked every menu page with exact match anchor text and within 2 days good booted back 3 pages. Fortunately, after making the change back, my site recovered inside of a week.

    Answer:Tread lightly.

I was trying to come up with a polite way of saying that the above answer is a load of shit but well....what a load of shit.

Internal linking and the correct anchor text is an excellent way of providing relevance. Use Adwords to find out what anchor text is most relevant to the term that you're trying to rank for and then use that to link back to the page, bonus point for actually having those terms on the page. Spice things up with synonyms, plurals and spaces and you're golden.

    Well said!

Another approach to find the correct anchors to use is to set up the site structure accordingly (silos if it's a big authority site) and just post content. Once you get some rankings data from GWT, you'll see what Google is ranking your content already for, and just use those/similar keywords (LSI/synonyms) for inner linking to improve the inner linking even more.
