Well, apparently the board didn't expect the president and also many employees to quit. Lets not forget many people and companies invested into OpenAI because they claimed to be Open Source and then they turned into a private company making profits and being mostly controlled by Microsoft.

The issue with all those AI CEOs and boards is they belong to ... wait, okay, I start again. The only one who can give us a free AI are the Chinese, or maybe Elon but it will be less free. Let's pray for that. Nobody needs that closeted AI. And the good thing is, they can't really control it, ie. they cannot just outright censor math.

Free AI? The Chinese? Do you know there is a reason why there is no such thing as ChatGPT in China? Or why ChatGPT is banned in China? It is because they have to "feed" their own AI with only the information they allow their people to consume. They will have to heavily censor and filter their version of ChatGPT.
