I've stumbled across this forum from time to time over the last couple years. It's always an interesting and entertaining experience. I decided it was about time I join and possibly contribute. Having said that I'll introduce myself. I'm a software developer in my 30's and I've been writing code for a living since I was in high school. The hip way to describe what I do is architectural, big data kinda work. I've worked for a couple startups, and had the privilege of contributing to some awesome projects. You may have heard of some of the things I've worked on, but I'd prefer not to talk about that. Right now I'm working for a slightly larger company. The pay is great, it's moderately enjoyable most of the time, and I can work from home in my underwear. What's not to like? So why am I here you ask? I wish I had a little more freedom to choose the projects I work on. When I was younger I participated in some possibly questionable (although not illegal) activities on the internet. And I kinda miss that. *sniffle* I'd also like to contribute what I can. If you're trying to write some software and get stuck I'd be happy to help. If you want to learn to code, I can help with that too. Please don't ask me to do your homework though. Let's just try to keep as much as we can public so everyone benefits. Thanks guys!
