Sales pages - Difference between email subscriptions and buy now?

Hey, just quick question about Clickbank sales pages. Some have sign ups for email subscriptions and others go straight to the 'buy now'. How do you get your share of sales if someone signs up to their subscriptions? Would it be better to promote the latter?

I do not promote any product on CB where they take the email before a sale.

Requiring the email before a sale will greatly reduce the overall likelihood of a sale. There should be no barrier to a sale once the decision has been made. Buyers are fragile.
