hi

in the last few week i did have some bad experience with a clickbank product ...i was promoting a guide about (i will use a fake exemple to preserve clickbank and the product author reputation and integrity) ..so...about how to make money with "yahoo awnser"

i did have many complains about the poor quality , randomness and poor english of the ebook ..and got many refund
..so i got curious and buy the product and YES it was a total wso like crap of something like 8 pages full of big picture and a poor poor english quality

so i got few questions coming to my mind

1- for the sale decrease : do people start to understand and recognise landing page and optin thing ..making them to close the page thinking it will be "another stupid guide that will give no result and make them waste money" ....myself i can smell a sale/landingpage or an affiliate/tiny url link miles away

2-for the crappy book : do clickbank have some kind of quality standards or they accept any crap on their website?? i realy dont like to promote sh!t

i was tinking about trying to get aproved by CJ they seems to promote more established and quality product..am i wrong?

thanks for your time guys

(sorry for my english it not my first language and not even my second..lol)

well you know ppl want the info in the book, your marketing is working, they are buying it. its just the quality that's the problem. Write your own version of the book and sell it as a vendor.

ahaha! this is same as me! i ;lost ranking and sale and increased in refunds... lol

Man, it's just true. Most clickbank product, without affiliate, is not worth a dime. Look at those youtube videos promote it, if the author doesn't hold comment for approval; most of the comments will say the products are total shite.

Even the hot ones, it's hot just because the product owners promote it very well.

^^^^ Exactly what he said. There is obviously a market for the product, so develop your own high quality product and promote it the same way you are doing now...and keep 100% of the revenue. (and also sell through clickbank)...but developing/selling your own product is always the way to go. Create something high quality that you believe in. Good luck!

The paid version of cbengine.com gives refund percentages - so you know which are the duds, and avoid promoting them

1) Yes, similar landing pages to a past crappy product will harm sales. It's always best to go with a unique design, or even just a different background color.

2) Yes, and no. It all depends on if you're in Clickbanks APEX program (top 100 affiliates) and have an account manager, or who reviews your product at security. It's all up to who ever reviews the product.... Some don't give a shit, some do. To be honest, a lot of the approval is based on luck. I found back several years ago, submitting my stuff for approval on CB was a nightmare, but now its a breeze because I send it through my AM for approval.

Its a typical situation of the make money online niche. People want to make 100000$ overnight. Once they realise that they cant, they ask for a refund.

I'd agree with others on here. If you're getting heat for someone else's bad product, then you know there's a market for it but it's the product that sucks. Cut out the middleman and tap into that market by writing the guide that this other writer has failed to create. It might need some proof reading when you're done with it, but at least you're honest enough to admit where your difficulties lie.
