Safety of Mother/Child method

In your experience, is the mother/child method potentially safe for the 'mother' account, especially when considering a 2+ year timeframe? Or have you experienced any problems with 'mother' accounts while burning your short-term accounts?

Yes it will be fine for mother account even on long run. Child accounts redirect followers to main account doing all the actions. The main account don't do extra actions that can put the account at risk

Yes, there are no direct actions from the mother account. However, it seems that the algorithm/mods are smart enough to understand what is being promoted from the short-term accounts.
 
in mother child activities, never share the content of the mother account directly, rather leverage the AI APIs for changing the text content text some what. Then algorithm wont be able to track it with 100% accuracy.

You don't bot on the mother account so it's relatively safe. By relatively safe I mean that if you do things that violate twitter's policies on the mother account you still can get banned.
 
Assuming the setup is ideal and you're not botting the mother account, it should be fine. No real guarantee of avoiding shadowbans, but you can take steps minimising the possibility of being hit by one.
