Safest Way to Blank the Referrer

why blank when you can fake it with the cpa-r

I've told the CPA network im going to be blanking the referrer because of privacy issues, faking the referrer would be pointless in this situation.

Thanks, I was doing some reading on this just now and apparently the JS redirect causes some problems with users browsers depending on how they are configured from time to time.

i use codebreaker gateway script with cpa redirector. Content get locked by gateway script (js script) and then user is asked to fill offer - here come the cpa redirector. So if user disabled js he will not see gateway, so there's no chance he will pass gateway without faking referrer and cpa network will not notice

Yea, I'm familiar with that but im incentivizing the traffic anyways and just telling the CPA network that I am blanking the referrer because "I don't want them stealing my traffic." lol
Then just use ssl, going from https --> http kills the referrer. It won't cause a delay like the DMR bouncing around and its easy to explain to an AM if they come sniffing around for why your referrer is blank. Way easier to tell them its from a secured connection then to tell em you don't want em stealing from you. ANd if they ask for the URL give em the adress to one of your whitehat sites that also happens to have ssl on it too.
