safest way possible?

hi guys first post!im kinda new to all this and had a few questions.by they way this forum is awesome! so i am just getting into penetration and vulnerability testing. i know a little but not much. i just got backtrack and will start working with that soon. anyways my first concern was anonymity and security. i know there is no 100% full proof anonymity but im looking for the best way possible to be nearly completely anonymous. A site, vpn service called privatevpn. c.o.m. anyone use it pros/cons. i found some reviews and it looks to be pretty good. also one big selling point for me was that they don't keep logs except on US servers because of US laws. now for certain stuff i feel this vpn should be enough but what if i wanted a little extra protection?
which would be better? ME<<VPN<<VIRTUAL BOX VPN<<INTERNET. or ME <<VPN<<FREE INTERNET PROXY<<INTERNET.

I have been using HMA vpn which has been really good for me can say about privatevpn, but i am sure other people here would have the information regarding it.

If you're concerned about privacy, I'd recommend sticking with reputable VPN + proxy providers and ask about their logging, abuse, and privacy policies before ordering. For example, some free public proxies are actually "honeypots" designed to gather data on web
spam activity, so be careful.
