Write super quality articles, add it to ezine articles and other authority article site, make sure you have unique content every where and link it back to your site...

safe, efficient and pretty time consuming
 
If its a pretty new site, avoid xrumer blasts, other than that all types of link building will work and will not get sandboxed.
 
Anything manual isn't getting you sandboxed :).... For the ones that already replied: define old domain? after what time a blast would be okay?

Domain older than a year and paid 5 years in front ;)
 
Mininets and link pyramids are the trends right now.

However, there is really only the "best" way, and no real "bad" way.

Think about it, if it was that easy to get a site banned, deindexed, etc., the focus would be on screwing your competition and not seo. This is the achilles heal of Google in a way. Google has to be very careful in what they do. The worst that will usually happen is that your links don't get indexed.

Acutually "randomness" is that best way along with quality and unique content. That looks more "human" and will be your best chance at success. Profile links and blog comments are king right now for linkjuice.
 
just submit your post in 10-20 bookmark site every you make a single post, then buy some high PR link, make dummy blog and create link wheell, it will bring some good traffic

i will have to agree on this, and also you may want to try manual backlinking. it works the best and gives great results, don't make the backlinks too heavy, try maybe 100-400 a week. i do 1k a week on mine, but my site has been up for 2 years now, so i don't really worry too much about it, and i also don't do xrumer blast, stay away from those for new sites.
 
Yes correct being consistent is they, make link building look natural.
 
The way I keep projects safe while getting the most out of automated tools like scrapebox autoposting and xrummer is to put a barrier of "buffer" pages between the automated stuff and your money and main support sites.

Make a large variety of the freebie pages on all sorts of places like ezine, squidoo, or anyplace that will give you a free blog. Use the automation to quickly boost the pr of the buffer sites, which then point back to somewhere in your main site or to a primary support site. (think deep links, save your highest quality links for your money page...)

Its kind of like laundering link juice...
 
I agree with beatuplunchbox, build a level of high quality backlinks such as the already mentioned ezine articles and then you can link to those however you want, with no risk of having your site penalized. It leaves you free to experiment.
 
do u guys categorize manual link wheel as a safety and effective link building?? i mean without using senuke or anything else...
 
A link wheel is a scheme that is contrived and recognized by the search engines as unnatural... you'll get a fast short term bump and then your site will be affected negatively.

It also depends on how obvious the structure is. If every page on a site has backlinks coming from the same 6 (or 8 or 10 or even 20) 2.0 sites, that is pretty obvious.

If they are interconnected it is even more obvious. Or if you use the same accounts to create the pages. They are interlinked by your profile links on these sites. Obvious.

If you use the same keyword... Obvious.

Being obvious also gets you flagged by mod types on these sites. If you have a whole lot of weight on any one of these sites and an account gets removed, how is that going to affect your network overall?

And using the same properties that are being heavily utilized by others for link building purposes makes your activity obvious to the search engines.
 
Articles are fine, but don't forget social bookmarking, video linking, blog commenting, and even directory submissions. There are lots of ways to get good inbound links. Some of the tools may seem scary, but you just have to start slow, use well chosen keyword input, and build up. Scrapebox has a lot of nice features for very little money.
