This post is not about how you can sell LV or Chanel Bags in their hundreds on ebay as that just cannot happen nowadays.

Soon as you list that high profile items you will have your account suspended, 100%

However there are a high number of items that you can safely sell under the radar on ebay sites all over the world.

The key to this is also all over the world

Do not just focus on your local market, if you are from the US have a look at the German, Swiss, Belgian French , Australian markets, there are buyers everywhere

By selling items outside your home market you also have the funds released to you by Paypal straight away---no 21 day wait for your funds

Also if you build in the shipping costs to your price and offer free shipping then your TSR's are not affected on ebay a must for keeping the account open and trading

This can work on new accounts as well as old accounts, I just helped someone yesterday with a new Indian ebay account list something in Germany, where the bidders are told the stock is in London ( which it is) however unless they dig they have no idea it is an Indian seller- as this is a high priced item some buyers will not bid from say China or India so you can change location of the product pretty easily

If you have an older ebay account pre 11/07 then you really have the ability to sell as much as you want.

the reason for this is Paypal or rather no paypal, if you have a pre 11/07 account you can add your own merchant account to ebay and disable Paypal

This really helps your long term success, in the last few years accounts getting suspended have been in the main because of paypal, so if you can sell with an alternative you can be selling in big volumes for a long time

The types of brands you can make a good living with pretty much under the radar are

A&F

Polo RL

Adidas

True Religion

Diesel

Moncler

Lyle & Scott

Nike

and there are many others, however if you just consider that the brands above have over 2000 lines that you could be selling there are a whole lot of items you could be selling daily under the radar with many happy customers

good luck in your money making

already knew the majority of this, but thanks for sharing is it may be a real good insight to others :)

THe problem is coming from China

Also if you import your self ( I only imported about 4 and still have a couple myself then customs you have to get through and they might charge import tax.

ITs a bigger picture but you have some good points

just to add, another great selling item is the high quality soccer shirts, these can make $30 + is some european markets---very easy sellers

Importing replicas from China to say the UK is not really a problem, of over 1000 packages in 2 years 0 have been held in customs or have had any charges.

That is not to say it could not happen just that it has not.

since the free trade agreement came into place very few parcels are checked. plus the fact there are 2000 customs agents dealing with over 800,000 parcels a day from China just shows they could not possible have the time

I would advise against drop shipping directly from China as that just raised all sorts of red flags. Better to ship from your own country or a hub somewhere else. There are a couple of hubs that I know of in the UK where they do the shipping and handling. you just have to pay a bit more but its worth it for those that have any worries

If you have an ebay account like the ones described above especially if you have your own merchant account it is a license to print $2,000 a week minimum

You need to write an ebook and what sells apart from our listing as I a sure you have not mentioned some, but perhaps you are talking high profit items and just sell a few for that stated profit?

I have personally had a couple of items stuck at customs and had charges.
You must be very lucky or have the luck of the Irish
IT would be interesting to know how you take the money?

just a few questions,

i have been buying wholesale from china for the past to years. i get 1-2 packages a week, most hats and jerseys. now i have been selling on ebay since 99 all real products, now im thinking about putting my hats and jerseys on ebay. I see 1000's of jerseys on ebay. I can mix my hats with real ones, witch im not two worried about. Now do you think ill have a prob if i start selling jerseys on ebay????

I would like to know WHolesalereplica how you go about listing Diesel Tshirts?

You spell Diesel as "Deisel" or some other typographical error and hope the item sells and nobody reports it. Abercr0mbie sells as "A&.F," http://myworld.ebay.com/clothestou_88

Adidas doesn't seem to care, but thats probably why nobody can really turn a profit on Adidas stuff.

Hmm

You want to sell an Ebay $350 profit micro niche in another thread and will not answer how you sell and list and profit from Diesel Tshirts be they real or replica in auction description?

easy, list it in say Germany or Holland, less regulated there and more profits

as long as the jerseys are mirror image you should be fine

the fact that you have a 99 account and can list with your own merchant account makes the account a goldmine

you could be selling globally on ebay with under the radar lines and making 3-4k a week easily

I did this business in it's "golden days" and yes it was very lucrative...but with time it just become a huge headache (ebay, paypal, customs, shipping, buyer complaints....) I'm so glad i'm out of it
