Hey everyone. Im new to the whole BTC category. But Im given a great opportunity and I'm wondering if I'd be safe purchasing with Paypal? Thanks!

Really? Haha even better and yeah lol its a great deal too so I thought I was like in no way safe. This is great news man thank you!

You are safe but its hard to believe anyone is accepting paypal for BTC...

Your a hell of a lot safer than whoever is selling the bitcoin! Hardly anyone will accept bitcoin for paypal because of the chargebacks. People buy btc with paypal, say they never got it, keep the btc and the cash.

You can however use virwox and purchase linden sll via paypal (if you PP account is verified), then go and purchase btc with that linden. I am warning you though, I have used them and their fees are quite hefty

if they want you to send the paypal money first, then they're the ones who are probably trying to scam you here.
they'll probably never send you any BTC and will try to clear the funds out of their account before your complaint helps paypal.
also, paypal might not refund you due their strict policies against bitcoin.

Well I am sending it first, but I get it same day. If not ill just dispute. Still safe or nah?

It seems a bit dodgy to me, though a someone else mentioned, this other person is at a higher risk than you if they send it first.

If not, I'd tread lightly

You can now purchase BTC via Payza. If you link a Payza account to the same bank as the one on your Paypal, you could move funds from Paypal > Payza > BTC, if you can wait a few days for processing.

You are only safe with PayPal if you buy shippable items otherwise you are fckd.I lost one dispute, than did charge back and it is already 3 months.Nothing happened.SO don't use PayPal if you don't have to.They don't insure digital items.

I am not sure that PayPal is accepting BTC or not. Recently i have found on a magazine that ebay start accepting BTC.
