safe to manually follow while app is unfollowing?

Hey everyone ... my GF has been paying a contact $80US a month to manage her IG account. He is getting her followers (around 80-90 a day), liking, follow/unfollow and making comments.

I recently discovered this site and have learned quite a bit just over the past few days.

One thing that I noticed is that the number of accounts that she follows is at 7450. I asked the contact why it was so high and he stated yes that is unusual and with his app it should never be below 1000. He was going to check the settings and fix it.

My question is - my GF likes to manually follow some pages as well. Since I assume he will be unfollowing a LOT over the next week or so ... will it create any problems with IG if he is unfollowing and she is following?

Well certainly the simultaneous access from two different IP's, with one doing the opposite of the other, will raise flags at IG's antispam departmant.

Yeah the simultaneous access is for sure an issue. If she can make sure she accesses it when his program isn't running, then it wouldn't be a problem to follow a few people while the program unfollows loads. Regardless, I highly recommend she look into doing it herself or getting a program to do it for her because these people who manage accounts are often pretty reckless. 7450 is a lot and the fact that the settings are messed up and he didn't even realize shows he probably isn't the most reliable account manager. Just my two cents.

Yeah thanks thats exactly what I was thinking. The more I learn and the more I see what he is doing ... makes me believe that you can only really trust yourself to do the best job. This page is a huge part of her income and she has spent months and lots of $$ getting it to where it is now ... and if it got banned that would not be good.

She asked him back when he first started working if she could access her app at the same time and he said yes it wouldn't be an issue. I thought it sounded strange but my knowledge was very limited at the time so I just figured what he said was true.

Going to let this guy go tomorrow and start looking after it myself.

Yeah lesson learned. Like I said, before finding this site I had no idea how he was doing it and what was actually achievable. 80 followers a day seemed decent to us. Now I know that is not the case

If you think $80/month is a lot, then don't even look at who people charge offline businesses. $200/month minimum for a lot of people, and then the price goes up from there depending on goals and niche.
