safe operating system for the mobile

Does any one know any secure mobile os better than android or even ios.
Android is great for general public and possibly the most powerful computer in your pocket but power does come at a price. And it is very vulnerable to hacks(termux and all) and even playstore apps or other codeless malware if that has made its way to android yet. Why does a flashlight app needs to have access to my contacts or my noters or my pictures.
Is there any better option available that can be used as an alternate if not the sole os or device.

i just asked because people here know much more than i ever can alone. This is more like a at home and personlise google for me. I am so much in love with bhw and everyone present here. Thanks to sir damien who enabled us to provide us with such a platform where we could learn and grow together.

This thread is still open if someone has a better option from the bottom of black hat. Some information or mobile operating system i might have missed by now in my own research and knowledge.
so request to anyone who can provide a better option.
