safe method to use private proxies?

I'm looking at buying some private proxies.

I'm looking for one that allows IP Authorization.

Also, what I'm realizing now is that even when using proxies, say you have 10 youtube accounts and wish to use 1 proxy per account, if somehow you forget to set your IP correctly when switching account, you could potentially undo everything you've worked for.

is there a software or a method to ensure there will be no problem?

perhaps block all traffic on my firewall except proxy traffic? Even then, how can you make sure each accounts use the correct proxy?

No good for fake accounts - to easy to mix them up plus most don't clear cookies or LSOs. With FF profiles each profile stores its own LSOs and cookies so no chance of mix up with separate accounts sharing cookies or LSOs. ;-)

Trust me it's easier to just make profiles and make shortcuts for each to your desktop. I bot with more than 500 accounts across all different platforms. This method works and I've tried about all of them.
 
allright, sounds good, and do you keep it 1 proxy per account?
 
You can buy it off from squidproxies they avail ip authorization as well

Here is my cheat sheet for your review; maybe it will help you:

firefox.exe -P My Profile -no-remote

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p 2nd-copy -no-remote

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p 3rd-copy -no-remote

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p 4th-copy -no-remote

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p 5th-copy -no-remote

Now I'm not sure where your FireFox is located but I run XP flavor OS (XP, Win 2k3) so these work for me. You might need to change the path.

Now run the first line in Windows (Start, run and copy paste "firefox.exe -P My Profile -no-remote" in the box without the quotes and click Ok or hit Enter)

Box pops up and click create profile, follow steps and name 2nd-copy, click finish and create another profile, name 3rd-copy and so on.

I gave you 5 links there for your shortcuts. Here is how you use those.

To use those shortcuts, right click on your FireFox desktop Icon and left click properties, click find target and on the FireFox.exe right click and send to desktop new link.

New desktop FireFox icon will probably say copy of FireFox or similar. Now on that copy of FireFox icon just right click and go to properties and left click You should be on the target tab, copy and paste that first link I gave you:

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p 2nd-copy -no-remote

in the traget box and then click the General tab and in the top box name your 2nd profile whatever account name you want it to represent. Click Ok.

Now when you double click that icon on the desktop you're opening a new profile that is separate from the original.

Now if you made 5 of these when you ran the create profile module, just close that 2nd instance, now on desktop just click once the 2nd copy icon and right click and select copy (Ctrl + C), now Ctrl + V to paste 3 more on the desktop. Now right click each of those copies, go to properties and drop in the other shortcuts I gave you and rename those instances to account names.

Now you have 5 profiles all unique and isolated from each other. Install whatever plugins you like to run on each, set a proxy on each and you're good to go.

I might of missed something as I did this all from memory but that should get you headed in the right direction.

A million thanks for you.
Just one doubt whenever you want to choose another profile you always have to type firefox.exe -p in windows+run.
Now there would be no need to run any cc cleaner right???

No you don't need to run firefox.exe -p if you set up the shortcut tab like I showed you for the desktop icons.

Right you don't need to run cc cleaner if you set it up right but I'm set all my firefox instances up with Better Privacy Plugin and have all cookies and LSOs cleaned every time FF opens and closes. No need to leave cookies and no need to run cc cleaner. Better Privacy will cya. In FF options disable remember history also.
 
I actually went and got FirefoxPortable instead:

This edition of FF allow you to run it on an USB stick. So everything (cache/cookies/LSO) are included in the same firefox directory.

I set one up, added my plugins, settings, bookmarks.

I created FirefoxPortable.ini, which should be in the same folder as FirefoxPortable.exe.

In it:

[FirefoxPortable]
FirefoxExecutable=firefox-001.exe
DisableSplashScreen=true
AllowMultipleInstances=true

Which will make my firefox.exe process name in task manager to be renamed firefox-001.exe. And it will allow you to run multiple instance of FF on the same machine, each with their own process name. (when they are issues it makes it much easier to troubleshoot and kill processes)

Then you have to rename firefox.exe which is stored into App\Firefox to firefox-001.exe.

And that's about it. So I will have like 10 folders each with their own version of FF, no shared cache or anything.
 
oh yeah and no need to setup profiles.

You can after you are done create shortcuts to your desktop.

And BTW, anyone know of a firefox "wrapper", like a script/program that watches the firefox process and restart it if it dies or hang?
