Currently I am a white hat writer(will probably try other methods in the future). At the moment I am stockpiling my articles before I submit them. I was wondering what is a safe amount to submit daily when I am ready. I do not want AC thinking that I am just spamming articles or anything like that. I was thinking maybe I could do 10 articles a day. Is that okay?

You could do 10 articles a day, but I believe if you constantly kept at it, you would get less upfront payments per article. I personally submit anywhere between 3-7 a day per account and it has been great for me.

If they're white hat and you don't care if attention is drawn to your account.. I've done up to 20 to 25 a day.. depending on how many bills I had coming up.

You need to promote like crazy though. The more you submit daily, the harder it is to keep your pv ratio up... unless you're a strong writer and the articles are big hits. Takes google about a week to index.

Yep. Safe to give them random nos of articles, esp in the beginning. So do something like: per day: 3, 5, 0, 4 ,7 ,4 , 0, 6, 8, 4, ... you get the idea! :) Keep the enemy guessing all the time & you'll win the war! LOL

The rule of thumb in order to keep your upfront offers as high as possible is submitting in the range of 5 per day for the first 1-2 weeks. Like srb said, switch it up with a different number each day. As you're doing that, you can use the Twitter method that JonWrong and I outlined in the "made $30" thread to push views to your published articles.

After 2 weeks or so, bump it up to the 10 per day range while you continue driving views to your articles. Like Shawndellah mentioned, you can submit as many a day as you want, but your upfront offers are going to really suffer. Part of what AC bases your upfront offers on is your abaility to drive views to your content. If you're hitting them with more than 10 or so articles a day, you'll be losing money in upfront's and basically harming your account in the eyes of the AC editors.

Good luck

thanks everyone. this is exactly what i wanted to know. i wasnt sure if submitting so many constantly would hurt me or not but i think i've got the idea now. thank you everyone.

What I've started doing as a WH method is to write like 20 a day but only submit 10 daily. Then you have work done to submit if you need a day off. :-)

I started off fast, did like 10 in one day and they have given me shit offers of $1.50, without budging on this (have done over 20 total now I think), I figure the fact I started fast probably has something to do with this, these were all articles written by myself, so I think it is a good idea definitely to start slow with these idiots and build it up, I am hoping once my clout hits 6, or so, they will offer me more, so far I am at 3.

thanks for the advice.

actually, i have had my AC account since December of 2008 but from December to September of this year I had only published 7 articles. (lazy, i know...i wasnt active about this until recently)

@ mad What clout did you have to get up to start getting the $3 range?

i also want to know. i just submitted some articles while i am at clout 4 yesterday. im not sure what kind of offers to expect. the last article i gave was at clout 2 and it brought me to clout 4 so im not sure what the offers are like

thanks for all replies everyone. yesterday i submitted 10 articles. 7 were accepted. ranging from $1.84 to $2.61. The average is $2.11.

Get it to clout 5 and you'll see it go up even more. Hang in there! Slow and steady wins the race. Congrats on the offers!

Hey guys I have been reading a while and decided to make a post. Complete noob but I just signed up with AC and submitted my first article and got paid $3.06. I know it really is nothing to brag about but it was my first attempt to make some money online with out any upfront cost. I only discovered AC via this site after I began my quest to make money online.

After doing some reading here I guess I will keep my submission down to under 10 per day and submit the rest to some other sites so as to not be counter productive. Thanks for giving me somewhere to start.

wow, thats great. i wish i was getting payed at least $3 per article.

Why would you save them? :S

i wanted to just save them all up and just spend a lot of time submitting them. i just wanted a reserve so i could take a break from writing for a bit and then release them in packs for a few days until i was all out

and i also like to have a copy of all my work too.

I've just had all my articles refused on 'formatting grounds' - do they really decline for Upfront for something as easily fixed as all caps in title? Should I just reformat soon as and resubmit - mostly holiday themed so won't be able to respin them. thanks

I have had 3 articles recently turned down because the descriptive overview was not good enough so I imagine that they do in fact refuse upfront because of all caps titles. I think you can resubmit but not sure how long it will take to be reviewed. Thanksgiving or Christmas theme? If you re-submit now it may not be finished reviewing by Thanksgiving but Christmas you will have time. If it is Thanksgiving theme maybe you could sell your articles so you can profit from them anyways. Unless you want to sell them next year.

EDIT: I am not a pro with AC so I guess you should ask someone with more experience too.
