Just thought I would share this unusual bug...

In safari web browser in the Google web search box enter "/\" no quotes and it will suddenly crash.

    Has anyone else experienced this???

I just tried it and you're right. Not that I would've entered that
    as a matter of course.

Yeh, it's an odd thing to enter. I was trying to make praying hands and was thinking out a facebook status... and deciding whether or not I wanted to use it (was while I was surfing another site hence why I entered it into the search bar)... I hit the /\ and was like WTF just happened...

I remembered a similar bug when you entered something like "about%"in Google chrome address bar.. so on a hunch I just entered the /\ again and it crashed and I gave it a few more tries and it persisted so I determined it was a bug...

I since reported it to Apple.

Not a huge bug but, just imagine if I was ordering something important online or in the middle of an important email, etc. That would have really sucked. So better fixed then left out waiting to ruin someones day.
