Of course I know what YSE is.
I mean that in France for example, Google has something like 93% of the marketshare.

The only way I saw people using Yahoo was : "linkdomain:www site com" (so YSE) to check the number of BLs.

So, if they close YSE, Yahoo will decrease ...

Assuming that can do 100s/1000s of domains/URLs at the same time and not just one at a time, it might be worth checking out.
 
It was shit to begin with. If you are only one of those with no money to spend, maybe.. but seomoz and majesticseo have always provided better api.

Not got any reports on Majestic, but I know Market Sam gives the option of displaying the amount of backlinks that Majestic knows about.

Good luck with that, I don't think backlink watch will do you much good being that is pulls it's data from yahoo site explorer.
