Russian Traffic spam

Some website "trafficmonetize" is sending Russian Traffic to my blog. I went from quality traffic to getting nothing but Russians.

How do I stop this? It's making my bounce rate over 95%

My first thought is blocking access for IP range for russia.
Try doing it with htaccess or PHP

Yeah I belive many western websites are doing the same. This is the best solution. If somebody from blocked country will really need to visit your website he can use proxy.

I've been getting the same traffic spam from russia, to my homepage. What I did was go to in GA, Admin section, filters, new filter, custom button, then in filter field scroll down until you find 'country'. type 'russia' into the box and save. done.

easy! php script redirects to some landing page like AliExpress for Russia
I always use this for many useless visitors from Middle East, Eastern Europe and South Asia. Not much money, but why throw away free stuff?
