Hello all, I had a question regarding running an affiliate program for my own business (jewelry). I currently have a jewelry company and sales have been slowing a bit. I wanted to take advantage of the affiliate softwares since my site is built with WP. Is this way possible for a small business to use a software (wp affiliate plugin) and see results? Ive been offered by a few people who did affiliate marketing to setup the entire thing for me, but I went ahead to do it myself.

What's the use of affiliate software if you are the ONLY one promoting it? You should just directly sell your product.

What I meant was setting up the software for other affiliate marketers to market my website/products where they get commissions.

Unless you are a big brand or offering huge commission. The chances of failing your aff program is really high. It might look easy to onboard good affiliates, but its not. But you can try your luck shareasale type of program.

thank you for your reply. the reason why i thought about doing an aff program was because i was offered the opportunity... so i figured why not get it all setup myself and offer the program to specific people. i use to do aff marketing back in 2005 up until about 2012, but i have never been on the aff program side of things. ive already setup the program on my wp website and it seems pretty straight forward. i was just hesitant to announce it just yet and wanted to see others advice on this before making it public. my business is not a huge operation, im a private jeweler, my items are priced
