Anybody catch this on Showtime last Sunday night?
Three men attempt to do the unthinkable -- traverse the Sahara desert by means of running -- in this documentary chronicling a journey begun in November 2006. As they interact with the cultures and people of Africa, the runners promote H2O Africa, a charity that strives to promote clean drinking water for the impoverished areas on the tour.
And one of the guys lives about 20 minutes from me. Talk about about motivational. Just the kick in the ass I been needing to get off the pc. My
cardio has suffering account of staying online all day. Have been off work for about three weeks and was planning on getting back to to crossfit training. But I couldn't pull myself away from online.
This is addicting. But I got to balance some areas of my life. Thank goodness my wife is supportive!
Think they ran around 4500 miles in 110 or 111 days! Unreal!
