So my issue is not with tiktok really but Shopify.

I found an winning dupe. I am using cloaking as well so I was able to run it well on Tiktok for a while. Its actually still running. Its a luxury item from a designer brand etc.

But last night I got an email from shopify telling me to either prove authenticity of the product through invoice or remove them.

Im wondering though if I can just make a new listing of the product and blur out the logos, change the title, and not include and brand name or references on the page?

This is what chatgpt is advising me to do.

According to chatgpt this email I got from shopify is not the result of a manual human shopify review. but rather automated bots etc.

Anyways any advice on a way around this would be appreciated. It's the best product I've tested so far so I am hoping I can keep running it somehow.

Interesting strategy! using Shopify with TikTok ads and reposts could work if done right just make sure your creatives are unique test different angles and monitor performance closely avoid copying too much or platforms might flag your content.

The easiest way is to relist without brand names, logos, or anything that hints at the original. Keep it clean and generic. If it's truly a strong product, it can still convert without the brand.

you think its safe to blur the product logo using adobe photoshop etc?

Blurring logos can be risky. It’s safer to remove brand elements entirely and focus on the product’s features, rather than trying to hide or alter the logo. Keep it clean and generic to avoid potential issues.I wish you success.

Relisting without brand info might work, but be cautious Shopify could still flag it. Testing safer products could save you headaches in the long run.

Some marketers are adopting this strategy of shopify with TikTok and also Google merchant with varied degree of success, though TikTok shop with TikTok ads or spark ads is doing well too

Reps requires a cloaking, both to lure TikTok Ads and also for your payment gateway

Another option is to pivot to similar, non-branded products that have the same demand. This keeps your store safe while letting you capitalize on trends without risking Shopify penalties.

Your account is dead, you need to create a new one.
You can try to sell products without explicit brand names, no connotations to replicas, etc.
But you will inevitably be blocked at some point, this just serves to delay the inevitable.

One solution to avoid problems would be cloaking.
This allows you to hide the nature of the products from Shopify.
So by making it believe that the products are legitimate, you can avoid being banned.
