For instance, let's say you have a niche, the niche is very small, low competition, but people do buy stuff in that niche. But what if there is only 5-8 things you can talk about? I already have 5 articles on my niche and even on keyword planner I can't find any topics to create within keywords.

Is this bad? or perfectly OK? Any other steps you can take?

how about making it longtail keyword.

Even if you have limited topics to talk about on your niche you can still create worthy articles by being creative. I could help better if I know what your niche is but I guess that would not be possible. Instead I'm going to advise you to create posts in parts so that people will be intrigued to follow your post. For example "How to (your keyword) Part 1", after a few day you should follow up with a Part 2 and then Part 3 in a few days more. You have to make sure though that you are not talking non-sense.

That is a great idea, thanks!

Write as much article as you can and then start another blog on different niche.

relying upon the single niche is not a good option.
you can try different niche.
make sure you put 100% in one niche and then proceed to eat more,.

Go broad. Just because your domain is let's say perfecthighheels.com it doesn't mean you can't sell all kinds of women shoes on it.
