For years I've been struggling to learn a skill online, with nothing to show for. I've tried learning programming, computer networking, cyber security, CompTIA, and so many others, but still,, I couldn't focus and finish any of the over 20 courses in various fields on my Udemy account.
Primarily, my main motivation for taking these courses is money driven and nothing else. No passionate hobbies for these courses, and as such, I wasn't enjoying what I was doing. At the slightest challenge, I lose motivation in a particular niche, dump it, and jump into something else. And the never ending loop continues.
I have always fancied the Internet work life, but settling down to pick a niche and sticking to that niche has been very difficult for me.
Sometimes I feel I keep asking myself if your aim of learning a particular skill is money, why not learn SALES then? There are marketers here making over 40k a year, why not learn what is involved and focus on it? Instead of wanting to be a pentester today, a web developer tomorrow, an automation guy the next day, etc with money being the only motivation.
Lastly, I'm deeply disturbed at 34 with no skill, no good cert. So, I want to put my all into any money making related skill I intend to learn. What area of internet marketing would any of you recommend, please?
