Rules for Youtube channel with copyright material?

Hiya!


I have long had a Youtube channel where I reupload trailers/teasers to new movies and from time to time small scenes from older movies. Youtube has awared me that the original owners have claimed copyright on most of my videos and I have acknowledged their claim so they can advertise over "my" videos. No problem with that. My question is: Can I use the description of these videos to link to one of my websites without getting my Youtube account banned? I have seen others do this but I'm not sure it's legal.

The problem isn't the link, the problem is the video you're uploading.

Yeah but the copyright owners have accepted my ussage of videos as long as they can put ads over it. I have not had one video removed in the many years the channel has existed.
