Rules and Regulations?

Hey, anyone else thinks the rules and regulations implementation here is a bit too strict?? I mean I get that they are serious about providing quality here but still, new people(like myself) should be given a chance to at least see the whole thing first without any restrictions.

It is pretty normal for new users to not to have too many rights when just joined.

What exactly are you missing?

Don't be a conspiracy Karen. (someone that freaks at rules and doesn't want to live by others rules, they want ONLY their rules) Does that sound like someone you know?

Rules are strict for all the users even paid members .
It is here to provide quality and to reduce spams , I am sure you will soon reach the higher level if you abide by the rules .

By the way , what is the thing you are missing out as a new user ?

Speaking of the rules, you might want to check and see if there are stickied threads with additional rules before posting in a section.

I've moved this over to Suggestions & Feedback as this is feedback and is appropriate here vs. introductions. With that being said, now is the time that you want to read everything and try to start understanding our rules. If you get a warning, unless you did something that's severe, the first one is always kind of a "hey, you did something against the rules. here's the link to exactly where it spells it out for you!". This way new users can learn w/o too severe of consequences.

However, if you decide you don't want to bother with the rules, or they don't apply to you, you'll collect warnings like Pokemon and end up getting blocked from the forum. So please, please, please take the time to read.

I am going to leave this open for the next 24 hours to see if you have any reply, or anyone has anything else they'd like to add.

thanks for taking time to get back to me. to be honest, I haven't explored the site completely (because it's massive) but just an example of where I am coming from, I didn't know they had a rules and regulations section separately for it's discussion and I accidently posted this message there and got a warning as why I posted there. :') anyways, I agree with your point. with times comes clarity.

newbie here man, didn't even explored the whole site yet (because of it's magnitude, got overwhelmed actually right of the bat haha

). I am not sure how I can answer your question lol

@Khawar2003 Another rule of ours is that you must use multi-quote when replying to more than one post.

Woah miss... that's... harsh, but but but, I guess "when in rome..." right?? gotta play by the books or not at all :') I'll do as you say. thanks for the heads up. looking forward to seeing you around (in a good way not as someone who comes and warns me haha)

I remember starting being on forums in 2003 and 2004. Trust me, rules then were much more stricter. You couldn't check a post until you reply in it.

Imagine having to reply to something you didn't even see in order to see it.
