RSS to Wordpress choosing featured image

I have been trying to run various RSS feeds to a WP blog and they all pull the data fine but I need something that will post each feed to a chosen category and make any images found into the thumbnail that will show on the homepage post but so far I cant find anything unless I want to pay. The feeds are fine but I just cant find one that forces the thumbnail to be the featured image automatically. If I write a post manually the plugin "Autoset Featured Image" will do it but it just doesnt happen from an RSS feed.

Anyone know of a solution?

Have you tried Rss Post Importer plugin . I don't think any free plugin is avail for this purpose.
