RSS aggregated news improve ranking?

Hello Guys,

i want to start a small news portal /blog , IT related and post there 1-5 articles on a daily basis with my small team of copywriters. I wanted to add some RSS aggregated related news. to shuffle content.
Does RSS Aggregated content help ranking , general indexing in any way?
