I'm working on building a small link pyramid as I learn some basics and promote my site. My strategy has been to build several blog sites (weebly, wordpress, blogger, etc) as my tier 1 links to start. So far I've just set them up and made 1 post to each with only one link leading to my money site. What I realized might hurt me is that I've made them all from the same IP and the same email address.
    My questions are:

    1. When is the IP logged for the backlinks? When I created the blog originally or on each post I make? So even though the sites are made with the same IP if I use a proxy and make different posts will I be in the clear?

    2. If I continue to build these sites without a proxy, but use proxies to create more links will I have enough diversity so that I wont be hurt by having 5 sites on the same IP?

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Google doesn't get to see your IP, only the links you create. So you are ok with what you are doing. Just don't use Chrome as your browser. Can't be sure what Google tracks through it.
