Ron Paul is a libertarian, so while he won't let government do whatever it wants to internet freedom, he will let corporations do whatever they want to internet freedom. Libertarians are for unregulated capitalism. So monopolies are okay, censorship by companies is okay, invasion of privacy is okay...

Net neutrality would make it so internet providers must provide an open internet, no restrictions. Government is the only body powerful enough to keep corporations in check this way.

Without a law protecting internet freedom the people can't force anyone to do anything.

I haven't heard any good arguments against a protected open internet. But Ron Paul is against that.
