ROI Blindness

Sometimes I get the feeling that I'm willing to pay everything to get in the top spot of the serps, pay for links and services etc. Without considering what the ROI (return on investment) will be when I hit the first spot, it's just like I don't care about the money invested, I just wanna get to spot 1 even if it's not a good ROI.

Has anyone else stumbled upon this phenomena, I guess we can call it - ROI Blindness.

The problem nowadays it's next to impossible to stay in position 1 once you're there. I'd be prepared to fork out a fortune if I knew I was gonna stay there.

Reaching 1 is actually the easy part. Staying there is the hard part.

Oh, and avoiding both the Google P's. Once their furry animals devour your site, there's not much you can do.

Yea that has to be the best solution. Should be quite easy if you are given a link-report.

Good advice, often it isnt rocket science...
