robots.txt help

Hi any experts out there can help a newbie to seo regarding robots.txt?

I built my site using weebly and recently added a google map a particular page. I submitted this page to google for indexing using webmaster tools but my robots.txt prevented googlebot from getting details of the google map. Can any kind soul provide some insight on this? Is there any way i can edit weebly's robot.txt? Or this map thingy doesn't affect my seo?

Well that is the main purpose of a robot.txt. To restrict crawling on parts of your site that you don't want to be crawled, that is why I agree with Fejity you should contact Weebly about this matter.
