as far as I know there are ways to make money out of roblox games, even if they are just copies, the problem is that roblox does not work on linux and is not even near to be usable on it's studio version, is there any way to make money out of roblox or at least any alternative that is still profitable I would like to make money with gamedev or software dev but I don't really know where to start, I'm a software developer and freelance hasnt worked pretty well as most times it takes a lot of time or clients wont pay, what other alternatives exist that require little or no attention at all on doing manual work for maintainance?

Lua is actually fun, but if you look into how little of the Roblox can code - and how much robux they pay to scripters...

It's a gold mine for software Devs...

From what I've seen, Roblox can be played on Linux.
You mean like monetizing executor sripts for Roblox?

Roblox is profitable, at least for developers who create engaging games and monetize them through in-game purchases, game passes, and premium memberships.

I played/developed on roblox as a kid/teen religiously from 2008 -> 2016 and still follow it a bit.

Roblox has been slept on for a long time, and still is largely. You need to really delve into the communities on roblox to learn what people like and who is worth talking to. Most devs on roblox are in groups or larger communities, so if you can get into one of those you'll def be able to either get hired to write some lua scripts or atleast get some assistance with developing your own project.

If you don't want to develop and can't load the roblox client at all, there's still options.

Roblox has a fairly robust economy. You can design clothes, (hats?), models and whatever else and sell them off. Roblox monetizes everything, so just think about what skills you have and I'm sure there's a way to execute on it. I know some people who have made IRL thousands doing this, and some even just by timing the market with some limited items.

My experience is decently outdated nowadays, but I don't think much has changed since back then. It's the same as any other platform though, just make something and the money will come in for however long people find value in it.

My daughter is literally non stop on her phone playing roblox with friends, and I dig deeper to see more things about it and I found information that the guy that made that certain mode that my daughter is playing is making around 5k$ a month, so yeah, I guess it's profitable.

As you can see from the thread, people won't help you much.
They claim to know something, but when you ask them a question, they'll not tell you a useful sentence.
I first noticed this problem of people being unable to answer a simple question years ago. It's probably related to their "agenda of keeping it secret". wtf It's like they think making money is a secret and you need "TOP SECRET" slammed by Donald Trump himself on it, so it's taken seriously and no information gets ever leaked to the public.

You need to find a way to bank off their name.

But it's tricky because those games are now in every form, shape and on every device.
Hence you can have a ton of traffic and still make little money. That's what I found.
Think how to target people.

You have 2 things to do:
- monetize "roblox pc executor" and you'll likely get more desktop users which are US people;
- monetize "roblox mod apk" and you'll likely get more mobile users which are Brazil and India people.

You can monetize it with surveys, build a P2P network or whatever you want.

Notice there's a crowd manipulating each other on this forum who will tell you to buy some devices, pay for influencer traffic etc.
Don't do any of that. It will not work unless you're spending $500 a day and can analyze each step like a professional. It's not worth to do with something as small as Roblox in my opinion.

Just go to YouTube, type "roblox pc executor" and make silly videos about the topic. Link in comment to your offer (paid or free, whatever you prefer). Don't code anything - it's a waste of time - you won't make money as a Roblox coder, but as a Roblox hacks provider. It's a lot less steps. Who gives a damn about such games. Take the shortest path you can take and repeat as many times as possible.

I forgot to say, most executors will get you Thailand traffic. I think this game and its executors are not a good candidate for black hat in general.
Maybe if you can find some keywords searched for by the US population, you'll be able to make passive income.
