Hello all, so to start with, a little introduction. I have been on this website for around 4 years, although for the vast, vast majority of that time I haven't been in IM. I am currently 19 years old, studying cardiology at a top UK university. When i was around 16 years old, I made a website for a popular TV show with trailers, spoilers etc. and also another website that hosted episodes of the show. I used ******* (I have no idea if this still exists) and adsense to monetize the websites, and I made a decent amount of money, considering I really had no idea what I was doing. Unfortunately, at the time when the TV show peaked (the finale), I was deep in exams, and I hadn't been able to update the website for a while, meaning my earnings weren't nearly as good as they should have been. Nevertheless, I made around $700 from the websites in total at a total expenditure of around $7 (the websites were actually blogs, free hosting from blogger only had to pay for the domain). I didn't put much money into the website, perhaps I should have invested more, however I spent a LOT of time promoting, building backlinks networking with similar websites etc. In summary, I put a lot of work in, and all things considered, I was satisfied with what I made.

For a few years I drifted away from the forum and the world of IM, some of that was to do with studying, but in general I became very lazy, just sat around and played video games. However, in the last week or so, for a reason I cannot remember, I came back and checked out to see how the forum was doing. I read about a few new methods that I wanted to try out, and I am very close to finishing my hospital placement for the summer (as part of the course I have to work in a hospital for 8 weeks, 2 days to go as of now) so I will have time to devote to my projects.

I am a good article writer, when I first started on this forum I read about Associated Content (again, no idea if this still exists) and I uploaded a few articles, made a few dollars, but that just wasn't worth the effort. In the years that have passed I have studied and become more adept at writing, and in addition my studies into medicine have broadened my knowledge of that particular area. I have found websites in the last week or so, perhaps more exclusive than AC, that offer 10 x the price AC would pay, making it a much more appropriate price for the effort. One website that popped into my line of sight was Constant Content, and yesterday I wrote an article about fitness which is yet to be approved, I thought it was pretty well written so we shall see what becomes of that.

But I want to start something, a project, something where I put a lot of effort in, and as time goes on it will become more and more autopilot. Article writing is always something I can do on the side. To keep it simple, I am going to promote CPA offers with YouTube videos. Probably. I can't decide between PPD and CPA, and I know everyone will probably say CPA is 10 x better, but we shall see, I'm thinking maybe PPD would be easier to start off.

I'm still piecing together my plan, I find it so much easier to plan by writing it down by hand on paper, just seems so much easier to visualize. I've done some research, I've looked for a domain and a network, but I've still got a way to go until I officially start my project. In addition as previously mentioned, I still have 2 days of placement left; tomorrow, and Wednesday. After that, I have some time off, and I know what I'm going to try to achieve in that time. I'm probably going to label 'Day 1' of my project as Thursday but we'll see how it goes.

So for now, welcome, and good luck on any projects or ventures of your own.

    /Tom

This will be very interesting to watch as I'm trying to make a break in the copywriting field too. I wish you the best of luck in both your residency and your journey. I'll be following it closely!

Okay, so like I said I haven't been able to update this for a couple of days, finishing of hospital placement, but that's all done now, so let the road to £100 a day begin!

    Day 1:

So today has been a pretty slow day, I haven't done too much work because I was finishing off my assessments and getting that all together. I had a bit of a nightmare to begin with, I found a perfect .org domain, and I bought it only to realize that it was backorder (didn't know what this was at the time, IM noob over here) but luckily I managed to get a refund on that, and after a bit more research I found and bought my domain, with some cheap hosting. My website will be built on wordpress, and although I'm focusing on the CPA + youtube method, I may try to rank my website in google as well for some added traffic.

I've made and uploaded one video to youtube with my website link in the description, and I have bought some retention views on fiverr to try and boost it's ranking. As of now, my website is very poor I've barely worked on it at all, so I'm going to try and work some more on that tonight.

    Day 2:

So, for my second day, I am very happy with my results. It's only 17:30 here, but I'm going to call it a night and show my results.
I've had one video online for most of the day, getting boosted retention views from fiverr, and I gave it about 150 likes from addmefast, I also uploaded two articles to my site which I got from fiverr.

As of now, I've had ~190 impressions, ~90 unique clicks, but only a EPC of ~$0.04, making me ~$6

Now, 6 dollars is a lot more than I was expecting this early on, but that EPC seems very low to me
But anyway, I'll happily take the money, I've also uploaded another video & purchased more retention views so we'll see how that goes

    Peace out~
