RMXHost downtime

I didn't want to do that because namecheap would take down your domain if there was a dmca complaint I think.

Could someone awnser my question please?

We didn't experience the downtime (the one you are referring to) and switched to alternative nameservers with a 1 minute TTL. So thanks for the tip but i could have figured that out for myself as well ;-)

yes here can you explain with this one? thanks

They have registered all the domains on namecheap already.

Wow he defenitly told me different that the domains were on a server in lithuania. I just hope I can save my domains even with the $100+ dollars in transfer charges.

Ok all of my sites have being down nearly 3 days !!!! RMXhost - Facebook | Twitter | They are not replying on any of these as ive private messaged them, my site was realy going uphill and now this mass downtime as practically fucked everything up....... people spend hours working on there sites everyday and it's seems it was all a waste of time as no one can get online

The domain names are registred elsewhere so i altered the DNS A record, set it to 1 minute TTL and in case of downtime we switch the IP to another server that is up.

Damn i hope RMX will be online asap.

Anyone have suggestions for a DCMA ignored webhost who has better uptime and communication?

rmxhost are the really well known one, other ones you see look very amateur as in the type that wud pack up and leave without notice,,, but if anyone can think of any other ?????

This is why I stopped working with RMX. because they just too unreliable.

As I said though, it comes with the territory: To run this sort of service you NEED to be illusive.

IS there really nobody that can get in touch with RMXHost? Other Phonenumbers, information about the datacenter itself, Skype, etc?

Since there domains are hosted with Namecheap if there company is shut down. Im just hoping its a ddos attack. but if it is shutdown can we contact them and get our domains?

since, my site is down from 3 days.
Will i lose my ranking if i change my host???
I don't know what the F..K is rmx doing. No, any replai from them

Hey guys,

I'm sorry that you guys lost all your sites. I'm pretty sure I posted on a couple of threads a few weeks back to avoid rmxhost like the plague.

Here's a list of providers that don't really care about DMCA's. Please note that some of these guys only offer VPS/Dedicated servers. If you need help setting them up, feel free to PM me.

It's really terrible that there is not a single sign from RMXHost / Spider IT. I have discovered a lot of information about him. I need my source code back like the rest of you guys (for me not the domain names but what i read a lot of you do). I will give it another 48 hours otherwise i'm going to take other measures. Keep you guys posted.

Can anyone create a proper shitlist thread on RMX host, requesting our money as well.
I've paid for a year in advance and only got 4 months of hosting.
I am sure others have the same issues,
also we have all lost our sites, luckily i didnt have any important ones on there, as far as I can remember :(

rmx is down so our site is down and also we lost our money.. so keep updating on this thread guys.
