Ahead of the curve? How can one be ahead of the curve when anyone with minimal technical skill and at the lowest cost will have access to an AI, for example, 10 times more powerful than DeepSeek?
I believe that before thinking about being ahead of the curve in competitive terms, it would be better to ask oneself: what is the majority ignoring? How do I protect my wealth? Is gold going up?
Most people will use AI to be more efficient in their jobs or to have two or more remote jobs at the same time. Meanwhile, their bosses will try to cut costs by laying off anyone who is not essential, leaving only a few workers to supervise many AIs. If possible, they will also lay off those few supervisors. All of this may already be happening, but corporations have evolved a lot and sell you a narrative full of lies.
Ironically, the only thing left is to take advantage of AI as soon as possible: scale and automate the systems you have, keep most of your wealth in gold and silver, move away from cities, and try to stockpile food for several months in case social protests break out. This is important because social protests will occur due to the fact that people do not know what is happening and do not understand why it is so difficult for them to find employment. Not to mention inflation; to reach this point, only 15% to 30% of the jobs in a nation would have to be lost, which is quite feasible.
Of course, the government will lie and create a crisis similar to the COVID pandemic because they need to control the population to make a smooth transition to the new model that will replace capitalism.
Surely, most people are unaware of this. It doesn’t make sense to think about being ahead of the curve in the long term because capitalism is on its deathbed.
This would really sound like a distant future, but DeepSeek marks a turning point this year. For humans, the exponential evolution is incomprehensible; I don’t know what December will bring. Living in Narnia is comforting, right? You can always choose the blue pill.
