I'm new to cryptotrading. May I ask why is this a preffered method than straight up buying btc --> xrp?

A guy once invested $2000 in ripple because it rhymed with nipple when it was 0.006 (Saw this on reddit in Jan 2017)
With that investing knowledge he made 300x money :l (if he didn't sell)
So the point is to invest and hodl
Invest the money which is lying around(well when you don't need now)
btc is more expensive than eth that's why.

people invest in crypto market and even dont know that ripple is CENTRALIZED. They are like a bank, and can print many money as they want. Stupid coin gain alot money , so sad for this stupid market.

XRP is not real crypto! XRP is a trick by governments and banks to take some control on BTC , ETH etc. People are selling their BTC , ETH on XRP! So Banks and governments get BTC,ETH etc. Eventually they will get some control over that. So Invest on XRP and make some quick money but remember when you're profit go and buy real cryptos.

15-20% seems to be the usual number for a founder after having to give away a bunch of ownership to the venture capitalists when major injections of capital were needed during rapid growth.
