ripping wordpress themes

I was curious if it was possible to rip or clone a wordpress theme off the web? Ive tried httrack but being as it's impossible to get the php files im pretty lost as to what to do next. the theme im trying to clone/rip is called soundboard from themeforest. i appreciate any advice anyone can shoot my way thanks for your time.

you could target child themes...not sure how you would find them though. Child themes are basically just a different style.css file.

@OP you can't rip WordPress theme, or any php script. What you can do is copy html/css/jss and build in WordPress functionality in that. But I believe it's easier to pay that ~ $45

Themeforest bundles are often shared on the BHW or other script shairng sites. Instead of wasting time with cloning or ripping, see if you can download or get it from someone. That is much better solution than spending time ripping it which eventually gets shared on the web by someone who purchases it.

there's a new business idea, a site like groupon for paid themes. It would require the theme be able to be used on unlimited site though.
