Ripping off second life users.

I ran an advert on second life last week offering to pay article rewriters L$100 per rewrite.

270 Linden dollars is the equivalent to a dollar.

So it works out I'm paying them around $0.35 per rewrite and selling them for average $3 on AC.

The funny thing is they actually do it for this fake money. They get fuck all money on the game so 500 fake linden dollars an hour seems like a lot for them.

Just thought I'd post it up incase someone who knows of the game is looking for cheap rewriters.

What ??? I dont get it..you sell the article at $3 each at AC ?? how did you sell it ? Just curious.

I wouldn't go saying losers, as in everyone that uses second life isn't. They are just not informed of a lot of other stuff on the net :D

How well did you find they rewrote the articles, was the grammar and everything correct? Also, how did you go about finding someone that was actually good at writing in english and what not.
 
Fair enough.

The writing quality I've been getting is actually of an ok standard. Better than the guys I've been using from Odesk. Remember, these people actually treat it as their "second life" job... :D So they're willing to do monkey work for buttons.

One actually said "I'd rather do this than grind on a pole and pretend to suck people off...."

Its a good program to take advantage of.

They have ATM machines on there that pay you fake money to fill out affiliate offers too.

These pay like L$17 (less than 10 cents) to fill in an email submit. The guy that runs them must be making a killing out of it.

I'm missing something here... didn't this guy say he was ripping the writers off by offering fake money? If that's what he is saying, then he is a low life!:spank:

Its not "fake" money.

You have to buy it at a rate of L$250 per regular US $.

So getting someone to write an article for L$100 works out $0.30 per rewrite.
 
Imo this is a great idea. I think I will give it a try. Just need to learn how to make an ad in SL:)
 
Nice trick that is awesome. I thought about using second life at one point to make clothing and what nots since it would really only take me about 10 minutes then I decided not to. But I like the idea of the atm machine. How do you generate the linden $ in the first place? You could also probably use this method for ewhoring as well but that might be getting a little too odd for my tastes.

You get people walking around with fake cocks roleplaying sex... it's pretty hilarious how sad these people are.

I would like to add that you can rip off users from the d2jsp forums.

The forum users do online game services for an hour, to get 15 fg (60 cents)

Article rewrites take up 15 minutes each. So 4 article rewrites take an hour.

therefore, you can pay 40 fg an hour for 4 article rewrites ($1.25 for 4 rewrites)

40 fg is about triple the amount of online forum money they usually get an hour. funny thing is, it's really only worth $1.25.

how do you pay them or buy them the L$ i thought you needed a premium account to do this
