Hey bh'ers,
I hope you all are having a good time.
I wanted to ask my fellow members whether it is a nice idea to rip content from a dropped domain to my new domain?
The content on the dropped domain is de-indexed on google(as it was dropped in 2011 + the content is written in 2009).
Will it be safe enough to use the content?
I don't want to use the dropped domain,as I think it may be a spammed domain.
Thank you.

Yes. I've done it a few times. I got one of my websites slapped for unnatural links, so just moved all the content to a different TLD. Still ranking high to this days a year later.

If the content is good, then it shouldnt be a problem. 2009 was a long time ago for google, so you might want to double check that its not over optimized. Other than that if content is not indexed anywhere in google it will be original once indexed again.

For what? As long as the content is deindexed it's good to go. I've also picked up some neat domains and re-populated them with content from WBM just changing the affiliate URL's to point my sites and gotten boost out of it. Sure it's ripping off someone elses work, but given that they apparently no longer need it...

Just make sure that the content is actually worth it. Some over optimized, keyword stuffed BS can only harm you.

Thank you, yeah,I'll check it for the over optimization stuff, and I don't think the owners care about the copyright and shit as it is too old.
I think I should rip it off, rewrite it and them publish it .
Thank you all again :)

Most of deindex domains have spun content, so check before posting directly.

Normally they are de-indexed or penalized for a reason so like Nut_Nights said check them out
thoroughly with using something like ahrefs.
