@alwaysinvisible @datsunguy I've had a dabble in it before, and it is EASSSYYY to get traffic. I was making clickbait-type articles in the run-up to the presidential election about things like Hillary getting arrested etc. and, it worked.

Have a look at this thread I linked above, it gives you an idea about the scale that is possible with this.

He says those numbers are lower than what they were telling locals.

In my area, they can't even read clocks anymore unless they're digital. They're that stupid.

to be fair stupidity is found in all age groups, I've had to explain quite a few times to people in their 30s that amsterdam is not a country and and its not next to holland or the netherlands but in fact a city in holland which in turn is in the netherlands (people find this concept very confusing).

also i've had to explain to my sister (who is older by almost a decade) that no, sharia law has not gone into effect in germany. -so props to you whoever wrote that fake news story.

What you are looking for is irrational behavior.

Find topics that make people explode.

For example
show a female mom demographic an article on how a woman treated her child in public

For a younger more liberal crowd show a person being untreated unfairly by a business.
