Not sure if anybody here is a big Motorhead fan or not but It looks like Lemmy has passed away today. This man was the reason why I decided to pick up a guitar and play. Also was a big reason why I started listening to rock and metal music altogether. So if there are any big Motorhead fans on here remember to celebrate his life by blasting some of his music as loud as possible and drinking as much Jack Daniels as possible! You will be missed brother.

R.I.P Lemmy, died at 70, amazing, nobody thought he would make it to that age.

I am a huge Fan of Lemmy, saw them twice in the 80's, any metal concert I ever went to many wore Motorhead jackets, he will be missed, but fortunately because of his music he will always be around.

Such sad news. I was at a Motorhead concert when I was 18. It was hands down the loudest fucking thing I've even been to. It was an amazing night, though! RIP Lemmy.

I couldn't believe when i saw it. Those great men and women that we look up to when we're younger always seem to be eternal, unlikely to die. However, one day or another the inescapable fate kicks in and we get ourselves wondering whether it could even be happening at all.

I have never been a big Motorhead fan, but they were one of the first rock bands i've listened to and Lemmy was... i mean, is(!) a legend.

RIP.

The official Motorhead site crashed earlier today. Also we've lost Guru Josh and the drummer from the Specials. ( Outside of UK might not know who these are )
