McAfee was part of my life as a computer repair tech in the 90's.
I had a small kit of diskettes I used to fix PC's for a few bucks. 20, 30 bucks to fix PC's in town. There was no cell phones or email or anything, it was word of mouth.
The beige disk with McAfee scribbled on it with a sharpie was the one that always fixed everything. It was my favorite little disk. I probably still have it somewhere, now I wanna find it.
A cool period of my life is gone.
I didn't sympathize with this weird ways, nor would I like to live like him, also his later life in crypto was obviously not right.... but still hurts me that he's gone.
