Ah no way! This man is a legend such a great actor, as mentioned above he made the modern day gangster persona and he made it his own... RIP!

They just had a baby that is 8 months old. So sad to see this. Definitely one of my favorites. He will be missed.

Sorry to correct you loclhero, but it's not in your opinion, it's in everyones opinion! No one can honestly say that James Gandolfini wasn't the best drama actor in the history of TV series! Seemed like the bastard was made for the part of Tony Soprano! :D It was awesome! :D I craved, every week, for a new episode and although every season finale was awesome, it was hard to have to wait for a new season. I really loved The Sopranos, the best TV Series ever, period! It was a said day when I knew David Chase decided to give an end to The Sopranos after 7 seasons, but better that than turning the best TV series ever in a shitty tv series that would run for more than 10 years.

And I thought I would be the one to open a thread about this here in BHW, as I thought no one here cared much about The Sopranos and James Gandolfini. So good to see I was wrong!! Everyday I like this forum more and more, only goodfellas here! ;)

RIP James Gandolfini, you will surely be missed.:(

This guy gave a face to all those italian mobsters we hear about on the news... His role as head of the soprano clan was by far one of the best series ever!
 
RIP.

On the flipside he's now chilling in the heavens with Bernie Mac, James Dean and Steve McQueen.

He was awesome in The Sopranos. But dont forget his role in The Mexican, that gay hitman lol

Sopranos is one of my favourite series ever.
im watching the whole thing again now in his memory.
