[RIP] - Entropay shutdown on April 2019

We’re sorry to let you know that Entropay is imposing new account restrictions. This means, over the coming months, your Entropay account functionality will be gradually restricted.

We are letting you know about this change now so you will have plenty of time to withdraw or spend any money that is on your account.

New Account Restrictions

Please make sure you have withdrawn or spent any money on your Entropay account before 24 April 2019.
Here is how this change will affect you:

14 December 2019
You will not be able to top up your account from credit or debit cards, or from bank transfers.

26 February 2019
All virtual cards in your account will be deleted and any remaining money will be transferred to your wallet balance. Payouts and transfers will be disabled and any outstanding transactions will be cancelled.

lol there were some people predicating this , i don't understand from which source these info was available .
 
I still remember when I was new to IM, I was searching for VCC for buying hosting and all that things. At that, this company was a life saver for me. Feel bad for them.

Not all users have reported receiving the email .
Even I had 4 accounts earlier and only one received the email about ENTROPAY shutting down

maybe entropay don't like to receive complains about this news all at once ?or wish to serve specific customers ??

can you still topup your other ep accounts with debit card ?
 
Are they shutting down altogether, or just removing some features? It looks from that message like they are only imposing restrictions.

Well, it's already available only in EEA, they disabled topping up your account on 14th Dec and the restrictions of 26th February (disabling VCCs, payouts and transfers) mean the end practically.

Well, the end of its purpose for most of us. It sounds like they're going to continue in some form. Although they've stopped taking new registrations and that's a bad sign.

I could not stop their emails when they fake " your account is disabled" every few weeks.
There was no unsubscribe button at bottom.
Very happy to hear this now.
