Damn, I missed this thread and then saw that BtJunkie was closed. What a bummer! Good to see the Feds getting their priorities right after the financial meltdown and the insider trading being done by Congress because we all know that torrents lead to the Great Recession!

The Establishment Media are just writing their own death-warrant... every evolution of peer-to-peer is worse (for the Establishment Media) than the prior generation of "piracy" which was "stopped" by legal harassment. Technologically, they lose. End of story. Short of implementing China-style censorship, there's no way in hell they can even tame the genie, let alone put it back in the bottle. Every measure they take to stop "piracy" through legal means results in new technological workarounds that make it easier than ever to share and download copyright material.
