Anti-vaccine bullshit and conspiracy theories gathering hundreds of responses + thousands of views. There are still threads about incels and other junk.

From the amount of views, this is probably also being indexed by Google and attracting ignorant people who search for crazy theories...

Meanwhile, many threads about guides, methods, case studies end up being forgotten.

I don't want to pick and choose where you should comment, but I would like to remind everyone that this is a digital marketing forum that is staying in the background.

and the lounge is not about IM, the lounge is for anything goes content
with exception to racism , theft, politics , no rule is being broken with
a covid thread, all people are doing is discussing there opinion.
 
It's sometimes funny and good entertainment but too much of it is depressing. Social media algorithms are pushing people to go more extreme with their beliefs as time goes on so this shit will get worse. Everyone here knows now that if you post a conspiracy theory you're gonna get a tonne of attention which results in more posts and so on.

Maybe if enough morons here don't get vaccinated they can increase the death rate and reduce the number of conspiracy posts?

Just kidding. It's annoying but can't do anything about it. Just gotta enjoy the show and not get too caught up in it.

If admins think it's too much, maybe they can remove lounge threads from showing up on the homepage to push activity back into internet marketing related threads :)

maybe there are no rules being broken
but forum-relevant threads end up being ignored and undervalued
while trolls, theories and click baits stay at the top of the forum all the time
 
I don't get it, are you trying to decide for people what content to consume?

If they are more interested in covid than in their IM knowledge, I think it's their problem.

it's not that all the IM related stuff here is pure gold either, you always had to dig a bit deeper to find the gems, nothing changed.
