Ringtones?

I know that awhile back ringtones was really popular but I have never advertised them. Well this morning I noticed a new merchant in one of my affiliates that is paying pretty decent so I thought I might give it a try.

So are ringtones still a good product to push and if so where would the best place to be to try to advertise them?

You'll probably get 'yes' and 'no' answers all across the board here. Really comes down to your marketing strategy and the coin you have to spend on it. Plus, always keep in mind ringtones, just like the AM industry is very volatile. So don't be putting all your effort into them. Give it a shot, test it out, if you can break into it - great, if not - try something else. Good Luck either way.

Payout of the ringtone offers are usually better than other niches. Its also little easy like dating to sell the leads.

There are so many competitors that your earnings will be low. Though you might hit a jackspot.

there's been some stirr in the media a little while ago about people who promote ringtone offers because of a few court cases... it's mostly kids that end up signing up for these offers and their parents get charged out the ass so a few angry moms decided to sue (or that's the gist of it anyway)
